What’s in a Name? Everything!
So We’re going to have twins. The technician not-so-lovingly already kind of named them, as the picture clearly states the name of the mother, and the names of the twins.
“Hello, I’d like you to meet my sons. This is Twin A, and this little scamp is his brother Twin B. Pleased to meet you”
That just won’t do. There’s a lot to think about here. Some rules to keep in mind:
- Do not waste this oppurtunity and call them John and Steve.
- Do not give them the same initials
- Do not give the names a rhyming scheme
- Anagrams or similar meanings are good, but the less obvious the better
- Always have alternatives handy, as you never know when you might change your mind
- They can move around, so don’t attach a name to a particular twin in utero
- Make sure each name works on it’s own, as well as in tandem (if applicable)
- Each name can provide them with a unique identity.
